What does the #metoo movement have to do with the climate crisis? And how can dreams help both? Today meet Marsha Hudson and Norman Brown. We’ll talk about Love and Power and how better emotional versatility can improve relationships and reduce our impact on the planet… and on each other. Our guests start out by saying that women seek love while men seek power. Reconciling these two drives is the work of relationship. They talk about how a modern lack of empathy is the root of both the #metoo movement and the current climate crisis.

Marsha shares a dream in which policemen come to the door telling her how to live her life as an example of how dreams reveal subconscious material that is hindering the relationship. They describe the nine basic emotions and the value of naming them highlighting shame and contempt as well as excitement/interest. They finish by talking about their upcoming free class about emotions which starts March 7 in Santa Cruz. CONTACT Dr. Brown or Dr. Hudson at 831-239-4901 to register for the class.
