We talk with certified Spiritual Director Pam Muller about working with our dreams starting with playfulness and trust. She shares a playful dream of her own about defusing a bomb by solving a riddle about pudding.
We then go into the topic of HSPs or Highly Sensitive Persons, a condition discussed by Dr. Elaine Aron and thought to affect up to 20% of the population. You can find out more about what that means at HSPerson.com. HSPs are what Pam calls “deep meaning makers” which makes them perfect for inner work such as dream exploration.
We then talk about the HadenInstitute.com and its programs in the Christian mystical tradition, Jungian psychology and dreamwork. They are having an upcoming virtual conference during the week after Memorial Day. Pam describes her role as Spiritual Director as being a combination of life coach and spiritual anchor and shares that she sees her role as that of being invited to sit in awe and wonder with her clients.
We then take a call from Ellen who share a prophetic dream and asks how this might be possible. We also get a check-in from a final caller who asks about the aboriginal concept of Dreamtime. BIO: Pam Muller (known affectionately as Sweet Georgia Pam) is a trained spiritual director specializing in dream work and author of the book “33 Ways to Work with Your Dreams”. She is a mentor for the Haden Institute’s Dream Work Training Program and serves as the president of the board for the nonprofit Zeitgeist (a platform for training spiritually independent seekers).
Pam is an experienced presenter, writer, group leader, mentor and dream expert. She is a highly sensitive empath and her understanding, compassion and nurturing spirit are palpable in every area of her work.
She employs more than 15 years of experience studying the language of the dreaming mind to guide individuals and groups through deeply personal journeys of self-discovery.
