Pride Perspectives features discussions of various aspects of the rich and vibrant Santa Cruz LGBTQ+ history. Created in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Santa Cruz Pride in 2025, we include conversations with guests about their experiences in being part of this history through stories of local people and events.

Episode 8: Nearly 50% of seniors report social isolation and loneliness. These issues are linked to a variety of long-term physical and mental health risks. One man tells about finding his way from loneliness to community, connection and greater physical and mental health. Our guests also discuss a recent art museum exhibit created by local seniors on this topic.
