Patrice Keet and Melissa LaHommedieu are co-authors of the just-released book Melissa Come Back.

Patrice Keet was a marriage and family therapist for thirty years with experience in private practice and school settings. She hosted a talk radio program called “Heart to Heart” on KNRY in Seaside for two years, co-founded a children’s museum in Santa Cruz, CA, served on numerous non-profit boards of directors and raised two of her own children – in addition to being a non-traditional mother to Melissa and her two daughters. This is her first book.

Melissa LaHommedieu is a supervising social worker for the County of Santa Cruz where she specializes in matching individuals and families with stable housing solutions. She is the proud mother of two college-aged daughters and a star performer in her local karaoke scene. Melissa is a regular speaker at events supporting foster care programs. She is a proud member of the Board of directors of CASA of Santa Cruz County.
