We did an All Caller show this week: no guest! It was a dream extravaganza with 6 dreams shared by 4 dreamers as well as a call from dream-inspired musician Lola Jean.
Ellen from Santa Cruz drove her car into a restaurant. Laura from Las Vegas received a bag of sharp knives in a flimsy plastic bag and then had a chance to dress up from a celebrity closet. We also heard from regular listener and KSQD programmer Christine who dreamed of a dam breaking but as the wall of water swept towards her, she calmly sat down and thought of all the people that she loved. Carol talked about her dream with a goat and a flock of vultures. Then Ellen called back and shared a dream about baby leopards.
I also played some new “Dream Pop” music from the album Big Grey Sun #2 by the Death Hags. Lola Jean, the LA musician behind Death Hags, called in and told us a little about how dreams inspire her creative process. We touched on the philosophy of multi-universes vs determinism.

Show aired on July 4, 2020.
