We talk with IASD president Dr. Angel Morgan about our upcoming conference June 13-17, 2021 which will be fully virtual and available from your own living room with workshops, keynotes and symposia on dream-related themes ranging from the arts, to culture, history, personal growth, research and theory as well as art, receptions and the famous IASD Dream Ball. We discuss Angel’s presentations which will be called Dreams and the Arts and also Lucid Dream Drama.
We then talk about the diversity work that the IASD has been doing under Dr. Morgan’s watch as well as the Dream Study Groups Program.
We share an email from Santa Cruz listener Ray N. asking about practices that would help him bring his dreams into his music composition. Angel urges Ray to record any musical dream gifts immediately upon awakening and also to share the finished pieces with others. We end with Angel sharing the way her father helped her to learn to lucid dream when she was four years old.
We play pieces from Dr. Morgan’s original dream music including Charade and Ancestral Healing Dream. You can listen to Ancestral Healing Dream on the IASD’s Dreams and Ethnicity Portal.
