In the 2500 years since its founding, Buddhism has spread all over the world with a diversity of forms and practices. But one thing is the same, the fundamental teaching of the Buddha which is found in all Buddhist traditions: the Four Noble Truths. The Buddha taught the truth of suffering or dissatisfaction, the origin of suffering, the cessation of suffering, and the path leading to the cessation of suffering. In this episode, we will unpack the meaning of the Four Noble Truths and some of the common misconceptions about these teachings.
