On Talk of the Bay, host Suki Wessling speaks with Christina Thurston of the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County. Though Covid-19 has created challenges for fulfilling their mission in some ways, it’s also created new opportunities for local volunteers. Thurston discusses the wide range of programs supported by the Volunteer Center and the many ways that locals, from families to seniors, can help out.
