Stoking the Cultural Vibrancy of Santa Cruz
On Talk of the Bay, host Suki Wessling speaks with Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History Executive Director Robb Woulfe. Suki and Robb discovered that they had an unexpected shared history: Robb has run arts organizations in Suki’s hometown of Midland, Michigan, and also in Ann Arbor, where she studied at the University of Michigan. Those places had other intersections with Santa Cruz: All three places have their own sorts of cultural vibrancy, something that Robb says is his main objective in his job of arts promoter and organizer. We touched on topics as diverse as investment in housing to meeting the public in a graveyard (with art). Listen in!
