The Roots of Traditional Foods and Cultural Practices: Connecting to the Land for Health and Wellness, is a one year grant under the auspices of the Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI) and the Intersectionality Laboratory (I-Lab). The program is student centered and will be guided by the needs and experiences of students of color, especially Black, Indigenous, immigrant, and undocumented students to identify and create outdoor environments to establish campus and community spaces welcoming and nurturing to student communities who have been historically marginalized within higher education.
