Volunteer Opportunities

Second Harvest Food Bank is looking for additional people to help with food sorting. Volunteers are asked to sign up for shifts via this link.

The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County is seeking flood response volunteers.

Donation Needs and Collection Sites

Urgent Needs: Diapers, baby wipes, feminine pads, bath towels, warm blankets, new socks and underwear, bottled water, gently used clothing in good condition, and art and craft supplies for children. Food donations should be pre-packaged and non-perishable.

Collection Sites: Donations can be taken to the Raices y Carino center at 1205 Freedom Blvd., Unit 3B, in Watsonville between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.

Did the winter storms cause you to lose your housing or wages? You may qualify for cash assistance to pay for a hotel, temporary rental housing, basic household items, or related needs not covered by insurance or other sources.

The SPCA Monterey County is coordinating to help pets left behind by evacuees. The organization can be reached at 831-373-2631.
