Ami Chen Mills welcomes Evan Morrison, Executive Director of The Free Guide, Santa Cruz’s newest homeless services agency, and 2 other guests working with the homeless. The city has contracted The Free Guide to run a new safe-parking program. Evan has worked extensively with veteran and chronically homeless populations, including the hundreds of people about to lose their camping space along the San Lorenzo River. Is there enough shelter space those in need? What are some innovative housing ideas?
