Join Talk of the Bay host Suki Wessling in a conversation about how our children are being educated under quarantine. Occupational therapist Keri Allen of the Pediatric Therapy Center gives hands-on advice about how to get kids moving and keep their bodies developing while they spend so much time in front of screens. Santa Cruz City Schools Superintendent Kris Munro then joins us to talk about how her district transitioned quickly to distance learning, accounted for all their students, got computers and food to needy families, and trained their teachers. Munro also talks about outreach to parents and what they are learning about how they can serve the needs of diverse families in the fall.
