On Talk of the Bay, host Suki Wessling speaks with Theresa Cariño, Executive Director of Salud Y Cariño, and Jillian Ritter, an analyst for the Office of Supervisor Ryan Coonerty. Both women are members of the Santa Cruz County Women’s Commission, a non-partisan advisory board that serves to advance the causes of all women, expand possibilities for women and girls and advocate for empowerment and equality. Because all issues are women’s issues, we touch on a wide variety of subjects, from immigration to childcare, health to employment. Listen in and learn all the ways that the health and success of women are entwined with the health and success of our county.
