Melinda Markowitz is the president of the California Nurses Association and a member of National Nurses United, a union representing RNs. She talks about the conditions in our state’s hospitals, the needs of nurses for Personal Protective Equipment, and the stressful reality of nursing extremely ill people suffering and dying under their care.
