John Mulry is a local community builder, founder of the Future Urbanist Club, a local chapter of the national non-profit StrongTowns, a creative strategist by trade, and a devotee of trickster gods. He originally began his college education training to be an Episcopal priest, but turned his focus to social systems and human behavior.

Len Beyea is a semi-retired energy engineer and commissioning agent, former land-use planner, musician, Interfaith Minister, gardener, dancer, political and cultural commentator, and grandfather who resides in Santa Cruz County. He hosts the Wednesday broadcast of Talk of the Bay on KSQD and also shares hosting of the Sunday afternoon world music show Border-Free Radio. He endeavors to bring to audiences new perspectives that are "outside the box", and music from around the world that stirs up dreams and memories and dancing feet.
