Robert Hoss, MS is the director and past president of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and directs the Dream Science Foundation for research grants to stimulate dream-related research. He is author or author/editor of four books and is also published in 9 other books and 4 Journals. Bob Hoss started out as a scientist, researcher and corporate vice president in the field of optical communications at American Express and IBM. Bob now devotes his considerable science and management skills to dream studies and to the care and feeding of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and it’s yearly International Conferences
We talked about dreams as a source of resilience in our lives and about the way that dreams helped a Viet Nam vet integrate his traumatic experiences. We touched in on the element of surprise in a dream and about using the Emotional Freedom Technique (i.e. tapping) with dreams and also about the upcoming IASD conference June 13-17, 2020 in Scottsdale AZ. We had a caller who shared with us that her dreams made more sense in retrospect than in the moment.
