Ben Newman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Montpelier, Vermont. Ben is in private practice doing therapy and consultation for clients of all ages using Strategic Self-Regulation Therapy and Archetypal Dreamwork.

Ben began his journey in Archetypal Dreamwork twenty-five years ago when he was suicidal and struggling to function. Dreamwork helped him not just survive but thrive, healing from a lifetime of major mental illness brought about by his traumatic childhood.

Ben is the father of is a 12-year-old named Wakeland. Ben and Amy Trafford (Wake’s mom and Ben’s ex-wife) do a podcast called “Raising  a Lion in the Jungle” about their adventures in co-parenting, in which they reflect on their experiences with dreamwork, their spiritual journeys, and the practical tools they have picked up along the way.
