We speak with percussionist and multi-instrumentalist Rick Walker about jazz in Santa Cruz. Walker has long been a fixture of the Santa Cruz music scene, best-known for the international live looping festival that he runs every year. With the help of the Jazz Society of Santa Cruz, Walker is working to encourage a new generation of jazz musicians and listeners.
