Sue Scavo is a writer, poet and Embodied Dreamwork Practitioner. In all of her practices – dreaming, writing, poetry – her work is concerned with the implied journey, the unspoken (unnoticed) epic that happens in singular (often staggered) steps. The movement of word to word, paragraph to paragraph, image to image in both landscapes.
Sue has been an embodied dreamwork practitioner for over 20 years, working with individuals and in group settings. She has taught and facilitated Dreamwork retreats and writing and Dreamwork retreats all over the US and Europe at such venues as Esalen, Kripalu and Hollyhock. She is the co-founder of Students of the Dream with her partner Bill St. Cyr. Sue also holds an MFA in poetry. Her poems have been published in journals such as Asterix, Poet Lore and anthologies such as What Have You Lost edited by Naomi Shihab Nye.
