If it weren’t confusing enough, some parks are closed and some are not. Some allow walking, but not picnicking. You can walk together, but not sit together. Find out what will get you a ticket, and what won’t in this interview with Gabriel McKenna, Safety Director for the Santa Cruz District of the California State Parks system, which includes the beaches of Santa Cruz and San Mateo counties.
