Do you dread talking politics with your Republican family? Many of us hate the idea of having political conversations with our Republican family members. We may even avoid them to keep peace. If you’re worried about the rise of authoritarianism, concerned about the climate crisis, or committed to ending systemic racism, talking about politics with Republican family and friends isn’t just a good thing to do – it’s a moral obligation!

Learn how to be a powerful voice for change without compromising your beliefs! There are three keys to persuasive political communication: 1) Lower defensiveness by creating safer conversations, 2) Connect and build trust so people listen to your perspective, and 3) Reduce bias by encouraging empathy, rationality, and self-reflection.
