On Talk of the Bay Tuesday March 31, 2020 host Christine Barrington talks with Second Harvest Food Bank’s Development and Marketing Officer Suzanne Willis about the bank’s myriad efforts to get food delivered effectively to central coast residents.
The 115th National Guard Regional Support Group as well as the 129th Rescue Unit out of Moffett Field and the 104th Quarter Master Company out of Merced have been called in to make possible all the necessary actions required to get food into the community, including a Friday afternoon drive through pick-up operation happening every week at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds between 9am-1pm.
