Each year KSQD stations its volunteers in a booth at the MJF where we get to meet lots of wonderful folks, and one character we bumped into was kind of special. Michael Downer has been attending the Monterey Jazz Fest for 60 years. I grabbed a moment with him while he sat with friends that captures the beauty and connectivity that emanates from this extraordinary event held every year at the Monterey County Fair Grounds.
