On Talk of the Bay April 21, 2020 Christine Barrington interviews Lynda Marin, Lead for the Santa Cruz Chapter of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby–a national organization that educates the public on how to effectively lobby congress to enact carbon pricing legislation.

In honor of Earth Day this year, learn about the bill that CCL helped inspire:  H.R. 763, The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, which, if passed, will remove 40% of CO2 emissions from our atmosphere by 2035 and that is additionally revenue neutral, returning all funds equally to tax payers in the U.S. Join us and hear how ordinary citizens are leading the charge for climate change action at the highest levels.

If you would like to become a Citizens’ Climate Lobbyist and receive the skills and knowledge to effect national climate legislation contact the Citizens’ Climate Lobby at: http://www.citizenclimatelobby.org.  CCL Santa Cruz meets every second Saturday of the month between 10 a.m. and noon.  Contact Lynda at lmarin@cruzio.com for more info.
