Santa Cruz County has ramped up its preparedness and response to the novel Coronavirus, Covid-19. In this interview, public health director, Dr. Gail Newel talks about what the county is doing to protect residents and what residents should do to protect themselves and be prepared. Then, we hear from Gerard Brogan of the California Nurses Association about efforts to improve safety for frontline health providers, which he says is currently very lacking.
