For over 30+ years Santa Cruz’s beloved Homeless Garden Project has been developing and refining the successful year-long program that transforms the lives of Homeless people in this county. On Saturday, July 23rd, HGP’s signature farm dinner fundraiser is back, with delicious food and a special keynote speaker, Bryant Terry, who is a James Beard & NAACP Image Award-winning chef. He is also an educator, and an author renowned for his activism to create a healthy, just, and sustainable food system.
All happening at Natural Bridges Farm starting at 4pm Saturday, July 23rd, and joining host Christine Barrington to talk to about why this event is not only joyous and delicious, but also vitally important to the community, is The Homeless Garden Project’s Director of Development, Paul Goldberg, and Volunteer Coordinator Omar Guzman.
