What Can We Do About Climate? On Labor Day, 2024, Ami sits down with two long-time climate organizers to talk about the intersection between climate and labor ahead of a local Climate Fest on Sept. 22. Andrew Goldenkranz is Chair of the local Democratic Party (DCC), a former labor organizer and recent, national fossil fuel divestment champion. Steve Palmisano is the former Climate and Public Works director for the City Watsonville, climate activist, Zen Buddhist Priest and a co-leader of the Dayenu Interfaith Climate Action Group. Topics include: the possibilities for climate and labor movements and where they have already intersected nationally and globally.
