Tap into your midnight mind and supercharge your writing! Today, we are “Dreaming on the Page” with author of seven books and Certified Dream Professional Tzivia Gover. Tzivia tells us she started paying attention to her dreams because of her many nightmares about scary dogs, and it has been a long road both in befriending her dreams and in improving her mental health. She gives suggestions about using dreams to solve writer’s block as well as for the source for poems and songs.
She talks about her book “Joy in Every Moment” about mindfulness and meditation and suggests that inner work can be viewed from a physical fitness perspective in which we start by taking little steps such as incorporating gratitude into our regular mental fitness routine. We take a call from Jenny from Massachusetts who shares one of her poems which was inspired by both dreams and waking life events.
Tzivia offers online workshops including a first-Tuesday-of-the-month “Dreaming on the Page” writing circle. She will be presenting a “Lucid on the Page” version of this workshop live at the IASD conference in Ashland OR June 17-22 which you can learn about at asdreams.org.
