Amazing comedy is coming to town! We are giving away 2 pairs of tickets on Monday’s Talk of the Bay. Join us!

2023 is ending and as we look back over a year that started with national disaster level storms and ended with another war, it’s probably a good time to rediscover our funny bone,  and our local comedy maestro DNA delivers! Bringing not one, but two, national headlining comedians for us to enjoy while also benefiting the Scotts Valley Performing Arts Center.  It’s called the New’s Year Eve Eve special, and it’s happening on December 30th. (Get: Tickets!)

DNA and Comedian Emily Van Dyke will join the show. We’ll play clips from MYQ, give aways tickets and have a good time.

MYQ has appeared on every late night show, and is flying in from Brooklyn for this special appearance (see bio below). Beer and Wine sales are a benefit for the SVPA. Live music by Lee and The Treeswings. Vendor booths by Little Hill Sanctuary. This show is appropriate for ages 16+ (with guardian). Also appearing is SFs #1 comic, Emily Van Dyke and hosted by DNA.

Myq “Mike” Kaplan has appeared on the Tonight Show, Conan, Letterman, James Corden, Seth Meyers, Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, and America’s Got Talent. He has a half-hour special on Comedy Central, a one-hour standup special on Amazon called “Small, Dork, and Handsome,” and a new Dry Bar special called “Live From The Universe,” as well as two podcasts, “The Faucet” and“Broccoli and Ice Cream.” His debut album, “Vegan Mind Meld,” was one of iTunes’ top 10 comedy albums of the year, and his newest album, “A.K.A., debuted at #1 and was called “invigoratingly funny” by the NY Times!

Emily Van Dyke is a regular at the San Francisco Punch Line Comedy Club. She performs in venues all over California and has opened for Colin Quinn. She was also in SF Sketchfest and her dating show ‘Flirting with Laughter’ won “Best Tinder Alternative” in San Francisco Magazine. She is hilarious and a badass!
