The Covid pandemic turned the world upside down, but it paved the way for humanity’s spiritual rebirth. Our guest, author Forrest Rivers, describes how shared experience during difficult times helps us to find greater meaning, understanding, and purpose. He says, if we are tuned in and paying attention, difficult times can help us find meaning and shares stories about how the pandemic empowered people to better themselves. He describes meditation as stilling the mind and opening the heart and tells about his own story of how an alcohol problem led him to exactly the teacher he needed at the time. Forrest shares some of the powerful dreams and visions that have guided him through the years. We end with a discussion of “everyday gurus” and how we can find meaning in life by focusing on gratitude.
