UC Santa Cruz Chancellor Cynthia Larive announced Friday that in-person instruction, lectures and discussion sections are suspended through the end of the spring quarter. Remote final exams will be conducted on June 8-12.
Cabrillo College

School District Superintendents and the Santa Cruz County Office of Education decided Thursday to close all public Santa Cruz County schools from March 16-20, and will reassess at the end of that week if they need to close longer. Schools will continue to offer vital services and resources during the closure, including handing out free and reduced meals.
Mount Madonna School
Mount Madonna School is closing the campus/school for the next three weeks. Students will not be on campus from March 16 to April 5. These dates include the school’s spring break, March 28-April 5. Faculty hopes to bring everyone back to campus April 6, but will evaluate and make a decision as that date approaches, according to Leigh Ann Clifton, director of marketing and communications at Mount Madonna.
Kirby School
Distance Learning will begin on Monday, March 16th. Please see the email below from Lawrence Shin, Academic Dean, regarding instructions for learning during extended school dismissal.
