KSQD Scores a Two-Year Grant from the Arts Council Santa Cruz County

High five with all tentacles waving. KSQD got news we are the recipent of a two-year grant of $5,000 each year. This grant will help support the work we are doing bringing you high-quality, local programs you love, and of course, covering the amazing arts world in our region.

We’re grateful to Arts Council Santa Cruz County for their support. Together, we’re building a vibrant and creative community!

Rachel is host of Talk of the Bay and Board Chair of KSQD. She is the producer of radio documentaries such as Southern Songbirds: The Women of Early Country and Old Time Music, The Boomtown Chronicles, and Pastures of Plenty, a History of California Farmworkers. She teaches journalism at Cabrillo College in Aptos. She is a recipient of a Peabody award for excellence in journalism.
