(Delay due to stormy Santa Cruz weather!) Paying attention to dreams can change your life. So can psychedelic experiences. We speak to Dr. Darren Jakubec who is a medical doctor and a dream coach. He runs both a pain clinic and a ketamine clinic and works as an anesthesiologist in an emergency room in northern Canada. Darren starts by saying that dreams saved his life and his marriage and gives examples of how. He says dreaming and psychedelics both offer inner revelations, and he shares ideas about how to bring such inner revelations into everyday waking life. He gives examples of how addressing emotional aspects helped patients who were dealing with issues of chronic pain. We take a call from Marlena from Santa Cruz who shares several images including an unfolding blue house, a papaya shaped liked a vagina and the word riparian over and over.
BIO: Dr. Darren Jakubec has a bachelor of science and a medical doctorate. Darren has had dreamwork clients for over 10 years and practices dream work in his pain clinic, in his ketamine clinic, in the emergency room and in the hallways and rooms of the hospital where he works.
