On Unheard Voices Friday, May 14, 2021 host Bobby Bishop interviews internationally renowned actor and activist Danny Glover about his art and activism.
“Artists are the gatekeepers of truth” and Danny Glover shares his vast experiences advocating for social justice on stage, in the hearing room, and across the globe.
Glover began his acting career on stage in his native San Francisco, moving on to act in films that include The Color Purple and Lethal Weapon. Throughout his life, Glover has been active in social and political issues. He will join Barrios Unidos in Santa Cruz next week for a forum to support the release of non-violent incarcerated people, and their successful re-entry into society.
