In this episode of Talk of the Bay hosted by Meilin Obinata, we’ll be talking about the hottest housing issues for renters and landlords with two guests from the board of the California Democratic Renters Council, which represents renters across California within the official Democratic Party: Susie Shannon, of Housing is a Human Right, and Esther Malkin of Monterey County Renters United. We also heard from Joy Schendledecker of Santa Cruz Cares, an advocacy group for the unhoused to discuss the Grants Pass Supreme Court decision, which will impact the rights of the unhoused across the nation.
