On Good News Santa Cruz Randa Solick interviews immigration activist Mary Reynolds, a retired Watsonville Hospital Labor and Delivery Nurse. As an active member of Sanctuary Santa Cruz Mary is dedicated to achieving Sanctuary status for our City and our State. You can see her tabling at the downtown farmer’s market to help immigrants and their neighbors and sympathizers become educated in case of I.C.E. raids.
In addition to her work with Sanctuary Santa Cruz, Mary is part of a local coalition of immigration workers and faith-based groups called the Welcoming Community Network which is trying to help immigrant/asylum seekers in Santa Cruz County in whatever ways they can.
