Host Mathilde Rand welcomes Nancy Ellen Abrams.

Nancy Abrams’ modest goal is a beautiful, meaningful, accessible, and accurate version of the new human story emerging from the sciences, especially from cosmology and evolutionary biology, because such a story could bypass religions and unify us humans enough to cooperate worldwide against climate change. She is a lawyer, philosopher of science, author of three books, and a lifelong songwriter currently using music to help tell the story.

Included are two songs: Galileo’s Logic and Gem of the Universe.

Mathilde Rand: December of 2008, I became part of the First Person Singular Team at KUSP (at that point we were five). During the last months of KUSP in 2016, I was the last hold-out.
