On December 2 Robb Woulfe, executive director of the Santa Cruz museum of Art and History (MAH) talked with Pauline Seales.
They discussed many exciting and interesting details of the “Ocean of Light: Submergence” exhibit running through January 2, 2022. This exhibit was created by a UK group called Squidsoup, who were not allowed to travel here during COVID which created an extra challenge for the MAH staff.
They also discussed other MAH exhibits and adaptation during COVID times, including school field trips the the Davenport Jail and the Evergreen Cemetery which are 2 extra sites the MAH administers.
The MAH will be open noon – 6pm through Jan 2 with slight variations for holidays. Normal admission is $10 per person but those with insufficient funds are not turned away.
The free model train exhibit will be set up in the lobby Dec 16-26 this year.
