Earth Day 2021, fifty-one years after the first Earth Day, is a mixed bag. On the other hand, there is an upwelling of concern and action around fixing some of these vexing problems. Esteemed professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at UCSC, Gary Griggs, and Zero Waste Coordinator for Santa Cruz County, Tim Goncharoff give an update on where we stand.
