In 2017, I started the Community TV program Connect, exploring the connections people establish with their community. In 2019, we started KSQD community radio. My friend Jean Kratzer opted for a radio program and she asked me to join; we called it Exploring Santa Cruz. After she moved, I continued the program. However, with KSQD’s expansion into Monterey and other areas, I changed the program title to Exploring Monterey Bay.
The program features Monterey Bay area organizations, agencies and individuals that help us get a more in-depth understanding of our community.
