KSQD Plans “Election Daze” Election Day Special Broadcast November 3rd
(Santa Cruz) Following on the heels of its successful special CZU Fire Coverage, KSQD radio is planning a 9-hour election day special on November 3rd. From 3:00 PM pacific to midnight (and beyond), the station will preempt usual programming to focus on the momentous nature of the election for our nation and our local community. KSQD promises to break the mold by informing, comforting, and entertaining listeners with a blend of analysis, news, commentary, call-ins and music. Regardless of the outcome, it promises to be a day for the history books.
Coverage will be anchored by Jill Cody (Be Bold America), Erik Nelson (Creative Bandwidth), Rachel Anne Goodman and Christine Barrington (Talk of the Bay), Katherine Bell (Dream Journal), Wallace Baine (The Golden Hour/Good Times) Howard Feldstein (Program Director), with regular updates by political activist and retired journalist, Tony Russomanno. Guests will include political observers and self-described election nerds, local elected officials, candidates, counselors, and a poet or two.
Listeners are encouraged to turn the sound on their televisions down and listen to the station while watching for a one-of-a-kind experience.
