Cat & Cloud Coffee co-owner Jared Truby visited Talk of the Bay to speak on that subject. Cat & Cloud is an up-and-coming coffee company because of their product, which has been embraced by lovers of fine coffee. But what some customers might not know is that the company wouldn’t be what it is without the values underpinning it.
Truby discusses the fine points of running a business ethically, from working with the farmers who grow the beans so that they can live healthy, safe lives, to training young employees to be themselves at work and insist in future employment that their employers also see them as individuals. It’s a tall order for a little company, but Cat & Cloud is thriving
