Blanca Zarazua’s father was a Bracero. She now holds multiple degrees in higher education, including a legal degree from Santa Clara University. Learn about how being the daughter of immigrant parents inspired her to become an immigration lawyer . In 2003 Ms. Zarazúa was honored with a lifetime appointment by Mexico’s former President Vicente Fox to serve as Honorary Consul of Mexico for Monterey and Santa Cruz counties. She has also served on the board of international advisors for the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
