K-Squid Looks Ahead and Back
It’s been year, hasn’t it? We are so grateful for your support that keeps us thriving. We had some major accomplishments and support, and, like any nonprofit, some challenges. We were thrilled to receive a three-year grant of $150,000 from Kaphan Foundation, one of our original benefactors as we went on the air in 2019 on 90.7FM, and later, as we did our capital campaign to purchase 89.7FM, and 89.5FM, tripling our coverage area. This grant enabled us to hire a part-time station manager, David Bean, who is charged with getting our admin systems running smoothly and supporting our many- tentacled volunteer operation.
