The California State Rail Plan envisions a network of high-speed, intercity corridor and commuter trains integrated with local transit hubs across the state, and the Transportation Agency of Monterey County has a strong vision for integrated rail in order to meet these targets for their jurisdiction.
This episode of Talk of the Bay features TAMC Director of Planning, Christina Watson, Community Outreach Coordinator Theresa Wright, and Alissa Guther, lead planner for the Pajaro/Watsonville multimodal station project. Together they share the agency’s views on the future of rail for their county and how it is part of an integrated transportation vision expressive of the agency’s mission to “build connections to help communities thrive and grow.”
