We explore the idea that healing happens when we resonate with other human beings and with ourselves. Our guest Sarah Peyton talks about how our inner voice is part of our default mode network, the automatic part of the brain that is formed by our experiences, and about how we typically learn model our own parents’ mental habits. We talk about inner voices and how we can tame them by offering them empathy guesses in the mode of NonViolent Communication. Sarah offers suggestions about using these techniques to help people working with their dreams.

We take a call from Jaya from Hawaii who shares a series of recurring dreams about being trapped underwater by huge waves. Sarah works with Jaya helping her to have a sense of accompaniment with these big images and with the big feelings that come with them.

We end with Sarah sharing that she has been incubating dreams of beauty.
