Talk of the Bay, Tuesday, September 7, with Chris Krohn: The recall, affordable housing, neighborhood activism, and Big Money$$
This Tuesday’s “Talk of the Bay” is all about recall, affordable housing, neighborhood activism, and Big Money$. In the first half of the show, former State Senator and senate majority leader, Bill Monning will discuss why the recall of Gavin Newsom is so close. Monning represented the Monterey Bay Area for 12 years in the California Legislature.
During the second half hour, neighborhood activists Lira Filippini, Guy Lasnier, and Candace Brown bring their fierce pro-affordable housing and anti-corporate development activism to the airwaves. It’s a show we are calling: “Which way Santa Cruz? 2nd home condos or first-home Salvation Army tents?”
The Santa Cruz Housing crisis conversation visits the 831 Water Street project Tuesday right here on “Talk of the Bay,” on KSQD 90.7 and KSQD.org Chris Krohn of the Santa Cruz Political Report will be your host.
