Sacred Dances and Ancestor Dreams with Alaya Dannu

Today marks our 200th podcast! We speak with Alaya Dannu who converses with her ancestors in her dreams and has learned how to pray using sacred dance steps. She describes these dreams as the transmission of ancestral memory across generations. They always arise from lucid dreams and yet cannot be incubated or controlled. We speak about the difference between ancestral dreams and past life dreams and about how the body is a sacred amplifier of energy.

We take a call from Chris from Felton who asks about the difference between ancestor dreams and visitation dreams, and she shares a lucid dream in which her grandfather tells her, “Life has an undeniable will.”

We also talk about Alaya’s podcast Cosmogenia and her role in the IASD June conference in Ashland. She will open and close the event with sacred dances and lead a workshop in which you can learn how to use AI generative art to express your dreams visually. Find out about the IASD conference at IASDconferences.org/2023/
