On Talk of the Bay, April 18, 2022 host Christine Barrington interviews internationally renowned Choral Conductor Cheryl Anderson about the upcoming performances in which her choral performers will be participating.

Cheryl Anderson helms the Cabrillo Symphonic Chorus, which has toured throughout the finest concert halls in the United States and Europe, and, in addition to the Cabrillo Symphonic Chorus, she also directs Cantiamo!, the Cabrillo Chorale, The Cabrillo Opera, which she founded, and the Cabrillo Youth Choir Project, of which she is also the Founder and Artistic Director. Cheryl has served on the faculties of Transylvania University, Colorado State, University of Northern Colorado and UCSC. She was named the 2018 Artist of the Year by the Santa Cruz County Arts Commission.

Cheryl shares with listeners details of the upcoming peformance of John Rutters Mass of the Children which will be performed by Ensemble Monterey and includes the voices of two choral groups that Cheryl leads: Cantiamo! and Cabrillo Youth Chorus. Join Ensemble Monterey live for two performances:
